Newsify: RSS Reader App Reviews

I was looking for a news app that I could choose what sites it shows without getting a bunch of recommended filler. I really enjoyed Zite and Flipboard, but have since deleted those and only use this one now. No longer have a bunch of news in my feed that I dont want and the interface is perfect. Not to cluttered so you can quickly scroll through lots of topics with ease yet still visually appealing. Well done!

This is by far the best RSS app available on apstore imo. A lot of options to customize the appearance and an in-app purchase to show the entire article without the need to load the source website. I bought a month premium, will definately buy a year once my month expires.

This app beats all the RSS readers Ive tried, including Feedly & Flipboard. Its so intuitive- all swipes, no taps!

App is always crashing when you are on a page too long. Other then that the app is a good rss reader.

This app has worked well fit several years. It does suffer from occasional crashes but not enough to make it a serious problem. It easy to navigate and easy to add feeds.

I love being able to swipe back and forth with one hand.

I like the way it allows me to mark favourite articles.

I was a Pulse user for a long time, but it slowly got worse and worse over time. Then one day I paid attention to how much mobile data it used in a session. I was shocked. I went looking for an alternative and tried a few. Some tried to be pretty like a magazine but I was after something a little more straight forward. This app really fits the bill. Lots of options to customize behaviours. It is fast and uses the bare minimum of data transfer to get my feeds. You can arrange groups of feeds and treat them as one, display them in multiple ways with sorting by feed, date or combinations thereof. Very versatile. I only wish it loaded more if the article instead of needing to go to the original site. A small complaint.

This app allowed me to sign in using my gmail account and imported my reader config to Feedly (including starred items). Now I read as before - unread items in chronological order. Interface chrome gets out of the way with a tap. Good app! The only issue is that I cant pinch to zoom in on images embedded in the feed. It will zoom the image to fill the screen, but no more.

Great app, the ability to follow feeds with out subscribing to a RSS service is great, the app is fully featured and easy to use… however, whereas it was a very stable app, the latest version now crashes all to often. Perhaps an iOS issue? I hope to see a bug fix, optimization release soon.
